Salesforce.com Introduces New Contact Manager Edition

Available for only $9 per user per month, the new edition will provide businesses with essential tools to manage business contacts in the cloud

NC News Network, September 7, 2009, 1100 hrs

The Contact Manager edition introduces Salesforce.com to an entirely new audience comprising, very small businesses and individuals, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the benefits of cloud computing for only $9 per user, per month.

"Contact Manager Edition opens up a whole new world for very small businesses and individuals, empowering them to experience success with cloud computing,” said Marc Benioff, chairman and CEO of Salesforce.com.

With the Contact Manager Edition, users can store and manage all contacts and accounts in the cloud. This edition also allows enterprises to easily track e-mail communications from Microsoft Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo or any other e-mail system. This helps in keeping a complete record of customer interactions for better sales execution, said executives at Salesforce.com.

Companies using Contact Manager Edition also benefit from an out of the box integration with Google Apps, combining essential applications for productivity (e-mail, calendaring, documents, spreadsheets, instant messaging) and CRM.  This combination introduces an entirely new way for users to communicate, collaborate, and work together in real time over the Web.
